Welcome to B&B De Friese Meren in Tjerkgaast

In the heart of the beautiful Frisian landscape, surrounded by vast meadows and picturesque lakes, you'll find our charming detached house. A place where you're woken up in the morning by the sound of chirping birds, and if you're lucky, you might spot deer and hares frolicking in the grass. Sometimes, even the cows curiously come to the edge of the garden to have a look.

Our B&B is situated in a peaceful location, yet it’s ideally positioned. The picturesque village of Sloten is just a few minutes by bike, and the lively town of Lemmer is also nearby. Additionally, the property is located along the famous Eleven Cities cycling route, making it the perfect base for cycling enthusiasts wanting to explore Friesland.

The house is spacious and comfortable, suitable for six people, making it perfect for families, friends, and loyal four-legged companions. The cozy living room offers a beautiful view, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The bedrooms are spread over two floors, each with its own sink. The bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor. For little ones, a travel crib and a high chair are available.

We place great importance on cleanliness. That’s why the property is professionally cleaned after each stay by a specialized company, ensuring that you have a fresh and well-maintained environment upon arrival.

Outside, you can enjoy the enclosed garden, where children and dogs can play freely. On the terrace, you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning sun or enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. There’s an indoor storage area for bikes, and you can easily park your car on the premises.

At the moment, we do not serve breakfast, but the kitchen is fully equipped to prepare something delicious on your own. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Located next to the charming town of Sloten and right on the famous Elfstedentocht cycling route, our B&B is the perfect base to explore this beautiful region.

Here, families with children can enjoy a carefree stay, and dogs are not only welcome but feel just as at home as their owners. My goal is to offer a warm, welcoming, and comfortable stay where both people and pets can create unforgettable memories together.

En één van onze logeeradresjes is deze prachtige B&B de Friese Meren. We zijn diep onder de indruk, van de lieve ontvangst, de prachtige locatie, de tuin, de omgeving. Het is werkelijk top. Alles ook zo mooi ingericht en niets ontbreekt. Fietsen opladen buiten is perfect. Eigenlijk willen we niet meer weg. We komen hier heel graag terug en dan langer dan één nacht. Is deze B&B een aanrader? 100% ja --> DOEN.
